Lovebird Enamelled Box with Swarovski Crystals

From wing-tip to wing-tip, the lid of this magnificent jewelled and enamelled lovebird box measures nearly 7 inches, with the base of the box measuring just over 4 inches. There are approximately 45 clear Swarovski crystals decorating the back and wings, around 15 pearlescent ones covering the head, with two tiny black crystals for the eyes.

The box is not hinged, but is held shut with two small magnets at the wingtips. The whole is enamelled with champagne-coloured swirls inside and out, with darker highlights to the wings and tail.
